Help! I need downloading for dummies. It’s super easy to click “download here” but then what. I saw your post about using your fonts for blog headings but I’m interested in personal use–mostly with Word. Any instructions you could give helps. Originally I clicked the All button with no success and then I tried just one font–still no sucess. Yes, they are in my Downloads folder–that was successful.
For those asking how to install on MS Word, I know this is late, but I hope it’ll still help someday :).
For Windows XP:
(Optional) Make a folder for all your downloaded fonts. It’ll be easier to locate later.
1) Go to Control Panel > Appearance and Themes > Fonts (can be seen on the left side of the window, in the “See Also” task pane)
2) Click File > Install New Font…
Note: If you made a folder for it, then it ‘might’ be located at c:/Documents and Settings/(your folder name)/My Documents/(your downloaded fonts folder). Anyways, just find it anywhere you placed it.
For Windows 7:
Just click on the downloaded font (the .ttf file) then click “Install”.
I’m having the same problems as the people above. I’m using a macbook, have them downloaded, can see them in the fonts folder; however, they do not show up in MS Word 2008 for Mac. Is there any way you help me as well? I love your fonts and want to use them in word and on my blog.
Welcome to the Fonts for Peas section of Kevin & Amanda! This is where I turn your submitted handwriting samples into fonts. Then I upload the fonts here so you can download them all for free! I've always been drawn to fun and funky handwriting, and making fonts is just something I like to do in my free time. Plus I love sharing the fonts that I make with you guys! So go on and look around and enjoy! :)
