How do I use these fonts??!
The Fonts for Peas and Free Scrapbook Fonts can be used in *any* program where you normally use fonts. To name just a few of the many examples: You can use them in word processing programs like Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, or OpenOffice. Or you can use them in photo editing programs like MS Paint, Corel Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Photofiltre, the Gimp, and many, many more.
The fonts can also be used on a Blogger/Blogspot blog. Here’s how.
For a step-by-step picture tutorial on how to download and install the fonts, please select your operating system:
 Windows XP |
 Windows Vista |
 Mac OSX |
If your operating system is not listed above, do a Google search for:
“How to download and install fonts in _______________” and fill in the blank with your operating system
(i.e. Windows 98)
*After downloading and installing, if you have done it properly, the fonts will show up in the font drop down box in your favorite program that uses fonts.
Okay, I’ve downloaded and installed the fonts!
Now how do I use them in my scrapbook?

Computer Journaling Basics – This informative article from Denise Gormish at Scrapjazz.com goes over the basics of using fonts in a word processing program, then printing them out to use in your traditional, paper and scissors scrapbook. :)
How to use Fonts in a Photo Editing Program – Jen Strange offers this great article on how to use fonts in Adobe Photoshop. This is a great resource if you want to use fonts in Digital Scrapbooking or to make an image using fonts and text to make, for example, a blog banner for your blog! :)

I have embedded the code for changing my fonts on my blog and it was working at first but all of a sudden it stopped. Can you think of why that might happen. I have everything uploaded to my website that is suppose to be there and have altered the blogger.js template to reflect the font I want, etc.
Like I said — it was working at first and now it has stopped and I’m not sure why. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just stumbled upon your website and I fell in love with the cute fonts!!! In attempting to extract them, however, a box pops up saying the font file is password protected. Is there a key word I need to type into that box – or does it mean I can’t download the font? If anyone is wondering how to use these in Linux: download them and unzip them into a folder called .fonts (the full stop / period in front is important) in your home directory. So if your user name is bob that would be /home/bob/.fonts/

Brooke Hostetler – open a new word document and type all your keys in lower case and upper case to see which keys make the doodles. Thank you so much for posting how to down load the wonderful fonts you have on your site. I do however have a quick question. I got through all the steps and then on the last step after hitting open it will not let me install. It only lets me view the fonts. Can you help me with this? Thank you again for posting all these great fonts. They are so much fun.

Thank you so much for these incredible fonts. I have a question: I use Windows 7 and installed your fonts the way I normally do other fonts. However, when I select your font in Word, it changes to Times New Roman in my document. If I highlight the text and then select one of your fonts, it seems to stay that font. However, this is very inconvenient. Please let me know if your fonts are incompatible w/ Windows 7 or if there is something extra I need to do. Thanks again.

I love all your fonts, thanks so much for providing them. trying to use them in adobe PS5. got them loaded and made a watermark. then tried to make another watermark and suddenly i’m getting a line crossed through every word/doodle I type in. Just wondering if you or somebody knows the solution to this problem??? thanks for your help!

I love love love your fonts how great is it to have this provided for us! so I have downloaded all the fonts and I started to down load the doodles. My problem is i cant seem to find them I used the same processes that was described for fonts and when I am in illustrator I can’t seem to find them.. or any other programs. Can you help me please I love all your doodles as well and would love to be able to use them. <3 chantal

I am sooo embarrassed I am usually somewhat computer savvy.
I just spent over an hour trying to get the [awesome blessing that you supply to us aka:] fonts into my font folder. I can not drag them in.
I can do it with extracting, then clicking open font then………clicking install.
This is taking forever :(
I am on windows 7. What am I doing wrong….

Really like the fonts. I have a viking embroidery machine and would like to use the fonts with some of my designs. Can I do this with your permission, and how do I go about it? I have 4D software from viking. Please let me know if this is possible.

Hey! Thanks for the fonts!! 2 questions because I kinda did two different things: When I came to the last step to right click and install, I did not have the option to install when I right clicked. What does that mean? Also, I clicked on the download all button and it took me through all these windows where I had to keep clicking accept, it installed a lot of programs like the Yahoo Toolbar and Weatherbug and Games…is that normal? But I didn’t see anything about the fonts once it downloaded those programs…please help.. :)

I love the Pea Snoflake. I downloaded it along with the “doodles”.
My only problem is how to use the doodles. I’m not sure which keys correspond to which doodles.
