I’m not sure if this has happened to anyone else (I’m in a rush right now and don’t have time to read the comments- sorry!) but on many of the fonts that I have downloaded, I can’t see the numbers! So I usually have to write out the number, which is aggravating… How can I fix it?!? Or, has this happened to anyone else?!?

I work at a school and we are looking for a font to use that looks like the way Handwriting without tears makes their letters. We would like to use it to make labels and such for classroom shelves. Do you have anything that makes an “a” look like a circle with a line by the side? Please let me know, otherwise, thank you anyway, these others are helpful too.

Hi Amanda,

My question is about special characters. I am Norwegian, and our alphabet has three extra letters: æ, ø and å. As you can see, they’re not vastly different, just…’different’. If I submitted my handwriting, would you be willing to make these extra three letters into the font as well, should you choose to make a font of my hand?

Every time I go to save my font to my fonts folder it tells me that the font is in use… I tried to force quit, but it is not showing up in my task manager. Can someone help?

This website is by far the BEST site ive seen in ages, and i only discovered it a few hours ago! I want my friends handwriting as a font, as we’re always telling her that it looks like shes typed it on the computer! :P Anyway, just wanted to say that your site is AMAZING!

I have the same question as several others; I’m looking for an answer from someone, but haven’t seen one so far. I have no problems downloading and installing all the fonts (Peas and Scrapbook). They work beautifully on MY computer (whether in Word or in Windows Live Writer that I use to create blog posts. But they are only visible on MY computer. Are they only useable for printing out, or is there a way to make the fonts be readable on my blog? If anyone knows the answer, please post.

Amanda, Thanks for sharing all these great fonts with your readers! I’ve used many of them. There are sooo many of them now that I wonder if you have a Top 10 list or something like that of the most downloaded or most requested. I just need help narrowing down the font choices from all that you offer. Thanks.

I just found the pea’s fonts and I fell in love with Pea Bhea’s word. But as I understand it, it’s not a font just some sweet word. Right?
So I wounder what’s the name of that font and is it possible to download it?

Hi Amanda! I ADORE all of these fonts. I am a teacher and live for font variation to make my classroom just wonderful! I have downloaded Smiley Monster and can use it in all programs but Microsoft programs. As you can imagine, I use Word often! I have spoken with both Apple and Microsoft and they did troubleshooting with me. Microsoft said the only other thing is that the font is not compatible with Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac. Is this the case? Do you have any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem? I know you guys aren’t “techies”, but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask. I don’t know what else to do or even who else to contact after calling both Apple and Microsoft. I hope you can help! Have a wonderful day!

Wow! Your fonts are awesome!! I just downloaded them and already printed out a document. But, I do have one question, how do I get to use the symbols that are on some of the fonts? Like flip-flops or a sun? They are on one of the fonts and I can’t figure out how to make it in word. Can you purty please help me out?

You are wonderful! I adore fonts and handwriting. After having my 6th grade teacher criticize my handwriting I spent years working on it. Now I get many compliments (particularly my cursive). I would be beyond thrilled to have my own handwriting font. One problem–no scanner. Would you possibly allow me to mail my handwriting to you?

nevermind!!! you have to RIGHT CLICK ON THE EXTRACTED FONT, THEN INSTALL. INSTALL IS NOT IN THE TOOLBAR ABOVE THE FONT!!!
